Printing
What type of paper do you use for the prints?
All photographs are printed on Hahnemuhle® fine art paper in a certified photo lab in The Netherlands. Known as one of the most popular papers for artwork and photography around the world. This extra heavy etching paper is velvety smooth with a fine surface structure and a matte finish.
Hahnemuhle ensures an incomparable classic look and feel, which you cannot find with other papers. It embodies sustainability and vegan principles, as it is crafted solely from natural raw materials, free from any chemicals or pesticides, and manufactured with reduced water consumption.
Depending on the photograph, I mostly make use of Hahnemühle German Etching, Bamboo Natural Line, Photo Rag or FineArt Baryta Satin. It will truly turn the image into art.
I would like to order another size than offered in the shop. Is that possible?
That’s maybe possible. Just contact me via WhatsApp or e-mail. I’ll let you know if that size is possible for the photo you want.
Is the print UV protected?
Yes, each photo is printed with UV resistant ink so that your photo does not discolor. Moreover, Hahnemühle papers possess remarkable resistance to aging, making them capable of lasting for several hundred years. Just to be sure, to enjoy a lifelong quality, I advise to not hang your print in direct sunlight for a long time.
What’s the difference between a regular print and a fine art print?
The difference has to do with the paper. Fine art prints are made with high-quality archival inks using a high-resolution large format printer. The prints are made with acid free paper, have a very long lifespan (over a hundred years) and normally don’t turn yellow, crack or fade.
Framing
What kinds of wood do you use for framing?
I always aim to select the best matching wood color with the colors in the photo. I mostly make use of walnut wood, oak and mansonia. I also make use of white and black painted frames.
How do you produce the floating frames?
All wooden frames are handmade by a professional framer in The Netherlands. Made from solid wood. The print will be fixed on a 1 mm thick aluminum plate and then mounted in the wooden frame.
Do you use glass for framing?
Yes. On the product page, you can add glass to the art work. I’m using museum glass with 70% UV filter. A high-quality, specialty glazing material designed to protect the artwork. To ensure the highest level of protection for the artwork, I always suggest adding glass to the frame.
What are the pros and cons of adding glass?

– Much heavier
– More expensive
Without glass
+ Small distance to the edge of the frame, creating a floating effect.
+ Better visibility of texture and dephts
+ Non-reflective
+ UV-protection
– Fine art prints are very vulnerable and easy to damage
Especially with bigger sizes, adding glass to the artwork is highly recommended for maximum protection.
Can I hang the frame myself?
Yes, each frame is ready to hang on your wall, using an aluminum profile at the backside of the frame.
Returns
Can I return or exchange my order?
If you have purchased a custom product (like a print size on request) or a product with a significant custom (such as a limited edition print) you are not eligible for the right of withdrawal. Limited edition prints are personally registered and cannot be sold again. Thefore, limited edition orders are non-refunfadable and unreplaceable.
